Roanoke Shooter Kills Co-Workers on Live TV
TV viewers watched the event unfold live in their own homes.
The killer had a history of mental illness, and inappropriate behavior and after
the shooting, he continued to tweet about the incident, and posted his ‘manifesto’ on Facebook, and also posted a full video of the event before taking his own life on I-66.
The incident followed an unfortunately uncommon theme of an employee with mental health issues, who didn’t get treatment and untimately snapped and murdered two journalists and shot a third employee in the back.
Posting on his ‘stage’ name, Bryce Williams, the shooter explained his motiviation for the killings, “Why did I do it? I put down a deposit for a gun on 6/19/15. The Church shooting in Charleston happened on 6/17/15…”

As the analysis of the event begins, we notice the same pattern of a mentally ill person who has whined, complained and clearly demonstrated that he had a mental problem. But with the lack of resources for treatment, and reluctance to confront, the anger (#human powder keg) went boom, and now the grieving families and co-workers are left to deal with their loss.
